I was a member of RCP from 1986-1989 and enjoyed working on
all the productions immensely whether behind the scenes or
singing out front (as a nun in the Sound of Music). I have
recently returned after 10 years in NYC and was happy to see
that I still re ognize a few names. I look forward to
working on some future productions with both old and new
friends.

Swan Orchestral Systems. We provide a unique high-tech
system that allows small musical pit ensembles to sound like
full orchestras, or one or two keyboardists to sound like a
large ensemble of musicians. Our system is a computerized
orchestral enhancement, under complete contro of a live
keyboard player; it is neither a MIDI sequence, nor a
pre-recording of live players. Olney Theatre used Swan on
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", which just
closed this past weekend. I happen to live in the D.C. area
(I'm the creator of Swan), so I thought I'd contact you. If

I'd like to introduce myself. I am the
Publicity/Newsletter/Promotions Chairman for the Western
Reserve Playhouse located in Bath, Ohio. Since becoming a
board member 2 years ago I've been reorganizing our
publicity effort. One objective is to establish a WEB
presence. Our site is designed but won't be uploaded for
another month or so. Question 1: What is RCP's history and
how long have you had a WEB site? I like the way your's
looks. It's clean and to the point - which makes for quick
downloads. Question 2: Have you gotten any feedback as to
the effectiveness of having a WEB presence? My main purpose
for developing one enhance our image. I don't know about
Reston, but up here in the Akron, Cleveland, Medina area, I
suspect any association with the words "community theater"
automatically makes us sound third-rate. Fortunately, we do
h ve an excellent pool of loyal members who appreciate our
endeavors. Oh, well. As you can probably tell by the way I
like to talk, I also perform on stage. I'll wrap this up
