Ushers, front of house managers, crew members, ad sales, volunteer coordination, special events, and so much more ... join us to make great theatre.
Access to the Arts - Tickets
RCP’s Access to the Arts initiative allocates blocks of discounted tickets at each performance of select shows specifically for use by students. Next up - The Prom, April 19 - May 5. Email president@restonplayers.org for more information.
Access to the Arts - Training
We are truly a community-powered theatre group and we welcome volunteers of all skill levels to come out to our builds and join our production teams. We offer training to our volunteers in the basics of set building, lightboard and soundboard operations, technical crew, stage management, and much more. Reach out to learn more about volunteering and volunteer training opportunities.
Access to the Arts - Education
Powered by grant funding and our relationships with professional theatre organizations like Broadway Plus and local and regional theatre professionals, RCP offers high-quality workshops and other educational opportunities to middle and high school students in the area at low or no cost. Click here to learn more about our Apprentice Program workshop series.
Access to the Arts - Internships
In 2024 we started a one-on-one internship program in an effort to introduce students with unique learning and / or accessibility needs to the world of theatre. We look forward to growing this program in coordination with area organizations to expand what we mean by access to the arts.
